Problem
Make the task and the reward clear before participation.
LOVE proposed connecting local businesses with visitors through rewarded tasks. A visitor needed to understand the action, the required evidence, and when a reward could be claimed. A business needed a way to define and review that participation.
Scope
Connect both sides of the exchange in one prototype.
The hackathon proposal covered visitor discovery, task instructions, submission and reward states, alongside business task creation and review. The team presented the service through a prototype and pitch.
Visitors
Give visitors a clear route to a reward.
The visitor flow started with browsing a local task, then reading its instructions, submitting media or social links, and claiming a BONK reward after business review. The interface had to make the required action and the reward conditions understandable before participation.

Businesses
The other half of the experience belongs to the business.
The business flow let an owner create a task with a banner, location, instructions, reward, and redemption limit. Pairing this with the visitor journey made the proposal a two-sided service, with task creation and review as part of the design.
Reflections and impact
A Top 8 proposal built around a complete exchange.
LOVE placed in the Top 8 at the Blockchain Campus Conference 2024 Whack-A-Thon. The prototype connected the visitor's actions with the business's task and review flow.
The status changes are central to the experience: submitting evidence, receiving approval, and claiming a reward are different steps. The prototype makes those conditions visible; it does not establish real-world adoption or revenue.
